The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology has set the conditions for nomination for the Nile Awards, the State Appreciation Awards, the State Awards for Excellence, and the State Encouragement Awards for the year 2023. The conditions for applying for the Nile Awards and the State Appreciation Awards are: The applicant must be a candidate from universities, centers, institutes, research bodies, or specialized scientific societies that have independent qualifications and those working in advanced sciences or technological sciences.
The nominees for these awards must not include any of the directors of these bodies, the heads of their boards of directors, or their boards of trustees, or any of the ministers at the time they assume responsibility. The candidate must have accepted the nomination, provided that the nominating party submits proof of this.
As for the conditions for applying for the State Awards for Excellence, it is permissible to nominate for them through the aforementioned bodies, and individuals have the right to apply directly to obtain one of the State Awards for Excellence or Encouragement or the Women’s Encouragement Awards. The Academy notes that the deadline for nominations for these awards is December 31, 2023.
