The Objectives of the Department
The following is derived from the previous general objective:
Preparing a graduate with proficiency in English language, literature and translation, able to use modern technologies in his field of specialization, and to compete in the local and regional labor market in the various fields, and to develop himself, and qualified to participate in community service activities.
1- Proficiency in English language (speaking, writing and reading)
2- Proficiency in the English language to allow the graduate to interact with it.
3- Ability to communicate with other cultures from a strong background of Arab culture.
4- Ability to understand the comprehensive cultural framework of the English language, and what characterizes the English culture.
5- The ability to read literature written in English.
6- Familiarity with at least any other European language besides English.
