Translation program (English)
Study plan of the program:
The study plan is based on the credit hour system, according to what is shown in the study schedules stipulated in the regulations, where the attached tables show the courses distributed over the study levels, and the number of credit hours for each course per week of theoretical lectures, including the duration of the examination, the major finals in the written and practical examination, and the work of the year.
The rules of translation program:
First – The duration of the semester is seventeen weeks, distributed as follows:
- The registration period is one week, and the student can delete or add courses during the first two weeks of study.
- The study period is fourteen weeks.
- The examination period is two weeks.
Second- Graduation requirements for obtaining a bachelor’s degree in translation between Arabic and English (128) credit hours as follows: (100) credit hours of compulsory courses, and (28) credit hours of optional courses. The study program is divided into four study levels, each level consisting of two semesters.
- Registration governs the specific course levels according to the proposed program.
- There is no maximum number of years of study.
- The student may withdraw his papers in any expel with an acceptable excuse.
- It is taken into account in each semester specifying courses for the requirements of compulsory specializations, optional specializations courses.
- All courses are calculated on the basis that the course is two or three hours per week.
- There is a period for deleting or adding courses for registration from the beginning of the semester.
