The Services
The faculty members of the department provide the educational service represented in teaching oriental language courses with its various specializations to students of the Faculty of Arts, the Oriental Language Program. In addition to courses in the departments of “Arabic Language Department, Islamic Studies, Islamic History and Archeology.
The Turkish Language Division also teaches Turkish language courses in the Archeology and Tourist Guidance Program of the Open Education Program at the university.
The Specialties
The scientific specializations of the faculty members in the department are diverse and cover many different fields in oriental languages, including:
Persian Language (literature – language), Turkish (literature (Ottoman, modern and folk literature – language – manuscripts – civilization …), Hebrew (modern, ancient, medieval literature, language, religion)
