Community participation is one of the important axes of the institutional capacity of the College of Arts, which it can serve the internal and external community of the college.
As for the services it can provide to the internal community of the college, it includes providing a range of activities for faculty members, the supporting staff, students and workers, which are represented in a group of various programs such as health and environmental awareness programs, seminars, workshops and training programs for students. In addition to providing security and safety requirements for human cadres and all infrastructure facilities in the college, as well as communicating with graduates to assist in continuous training and providing job opportunities for them.
As for serving the external community of the college, it is done through their participation in the events, field training programs for students, programs qualified for the labor market for graduates, as well as joint cooperation in research projects and workshops to solve industrial and environmental problems.
About the sector
The educational process does not depend on the university, but it has spread to include the family and society with all its civil institutions and organizations. The concept of community participation emerged, and then there were researches and courses that develop basic standards for it to ensure the benefit, and to enrich the education curriculum inside and outside the university.
