The Vision of the Center:
The Mediterranean Civilizations Center, Faculty of Arts, Sohag University, seeks to be a distinguished academic, scientific, research and service center within the framework of international standards of quality.
The Mission of the Center:
The Center for Mediterranean Civilizations, Faculty of Arts, Sohag University, works to establish interest in cultural and civilizational knowledge among the people of the Mediterranean region, and works to spread scientific, cultural and knowledge awareness of the civilizations of the Mediterranean, by the need to preserve its collocations and treasures from disappearance or looting; the center prepares courses and holds local, regional and international seminars and conferences, as well as publishes an international journal for studies and research papers concerned with those civilizations.
