The Vision |
| The Department of Psychology seeks to become a pioneer at the local levels (especially in southern Egypt) in the field of preparing psychologists and researchers, providing psychological and research consultations, and preparing scientific studies in order to improve academic knowledge and skills in the college community, scientific research and community service, and to develop academic and administrative work mechanisms, in line with technological developments in the educational process, and to enrich the fields of scientific research. |
The Mission |
| 1- Providing a comprehensive and contemporary vision, and an analysis of psychological theories and modern trends
2- Developing psychological tools and tests for use in the field of measurement and evaluation in the Egyptian environment. 3- Effective contribution to scientific research in the field of psychology through conducting psychological studies and research, preparing researchers in this field, as well as qualifying cadres of excellent researchers to continue scientific research who are able to confront and solve community problems. 4- Providing psychological counseling services to college and university students. 5- Achieving integration and consistency between scientific departments through the development of research plans and studied projects in urgent and applicable research fields, and linking the labor market and scientific research. 6- Introducing modern methods and means, following up on pioneering experiments, and the latest findings when conducting scientific research to confront the reality of Egyptian society and its needs. |
