The Department of Media at the faculty of Arts, Sohag University, organized a training course in the field of “Preparation of Radio and TV correspondent”, headed by Dr/ Fatima Al-Zahra, Head of the Media Department, and under the patronage and supervision of prof/Karim Mosleh Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof/Mahmoud Murad, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr/Ahmed Jaafar, assistant professor and general coordinator of the course.
Prof/ Taha Kamel El-Hawa, Chief broadcaster of Radio South Upper Egypt, explained the basics of preparing a radio reporter, the development of mass communication means, and all the problems that may occur during the preparation and presentation of radio programs, explaining the importance of audio, and the culture of dealing with the microphone.
Dr/ Fatima Al-Zahra said that this course for qualifying students for the labor market, developing the basic skills needed for media work, enriching the college channel, and preparing university students to participate in the top competitions in the field of “Television Reporter”
Al-Zahra confirmed the continuation of training courses and qualifying activities, with the aim of raising students’ skills, and linking theoretical studies with practical reality.
